McGinley enters New Zealand open

Six Ryder Cup players, including two from this year's triumphant European side, have entered February's New Zealand Open.

Dubliner Paul McGinley and Englishman David Howell lead the group who have entered the tournament, to be co-sanctioned with the European Tour for the first time.

They are the first European players to enter New Zealand's richest golf tournament from February 10 to 13.

McGinley and Howell will be joined by Italy's Constantino Rocca, Scotland's Andrew Coltart, Sweden's Pierre Fulke and England's Barry Lane as Ryder Cup graduates lining up for New Zealand.
