Higgins happy in Challenge Open

David Higgins put together an excellent second round of four under par 68 at the Donnington Grove Computacenter English Challenge Open to remain in contention for his first Challenge Tour victory for four years.

The Waterville professional is five under after two rounds, just three behind the leader Richard Bland of England.

“I played nice today,” said Higgins. “I’m looking to win this weekend and then get ready for the Tour School. “
