Tiger can do 'the impossible' slam

NICK FALDO believes Tiger Woods could be on the verge of something that 10 years ago he never thought possible - a Grand Slam of all four majors in one year.

Three days away from his 45th birthday and the start of the British Open on the Muirfield course where he triumphed in both 1987 and 1992, Faldo yesterday looked at the list of runners and riders.

And Britain’s three-time winner then declared that, in his view, only 12 to 15 fo the field have a chance of toppling Woods.
