Gentleman’s game? Not necessarily

WHAT a week that was for Paul Casey. He alienated himself from all things American with an amazing attack on the country and its citizens and followed up with pointed criticism of their new Ryder Cup captain Tom Lehman.

In response, Titleist decided not to renew his contract next year and Scott Verplank told him to pack his bags and go back to England.

Understandably upset by all the fuss, he then somehow found the will to go out with Luke Donald, play immaculate golf and take the lead role in winning the World Cup for his country for only the second time.
