Palmer course to host Golf World Cup

NEXT year's Golf World Cup will be held at the new Arnold Palmer-designed Victoria Club at Vilamoura in the Algarve.

This season's event is in Seville in three weeks' time, featuring seven of Europe's Ryder Cup-winning side - Sergio Garcia and Miguel Angel Jimenez for Spain, Luke Donald and Paul Casey for England, Pádraig Harrington and Paul McGinley for Ireland and Thomas Levet for France.

Twenty-four teams of two compete for a title worth a million dollars to the winners.
