Cork supporters will have an opportunity to say goodbye to Séamus Harnedy on Saturday as he lines out for Ireland in the hurling-shinty international against Scotland in SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh (6pm start).
The St Ita’s man, who announced his inter-county retirement last Sunday week after 15 seasons, is part of Eamon O’Shea’s panel for the game.
The 35-year-old is the first Cork player to represent Ireland in the hurling-shinty hybrid game since Rob Downey and Ger Millerick were on the winning side in Newry in 2023.
The three-time All-Star will be joined by 2025 All-Stars Andrew Ormonde (Tipperary) and Cian O’Sullivan (Dublin) and this year’s All-Star nominees Waterford goalkeeper Billy Nolan and Darragh Neary of Galway.
