Kerry previews: Austin Stacks can provide one test too many for Rathmore

SATURDAY

Kerry Club SFC quarter-finals.

Kenmare Shamrocks v Milltown-Castlemaine, Fitzgerald Stadium 3pm.

Milltown-Castlemaine have been middling for stretches of games and Kenmare Shamrocks look to be in the mood to take advantage of those lapses. 

Verdict: Kenmare Shamrocks.

Rathmore v Austin Stacks, Fitzgerald Stadium, 5pm.

The age-old argument of steeliness v freshness. Rathmore have undoubtedly been tested more and that Dingle scalp counts for a lot but Stacks may just have the edge. 

Verdict: Austin Stacks.

Kerry Club PJFC semi-finals.

Annascaul v Keel, Austin Stack Park, 5pm.

Annascaul may be more hardened by their tight win over Castlegregory. 

Verdict: Annascaul.

Churchill v Listry, Austin Stack Park, 7.15pm.

Churchill looked pretty convincing last weekend and can continue their winning run. 

Verdict: Churchill.

Kerry Club PJFC relegation final.

St Patrick’s, Blennerville v Tarbert, St Senan’s, 5pm.

Both teams are leaking goals heavily but Tarbert can do more damage. 

Verdict: Tarbert.

Kerry Club JFC semi-final.

Knocknagoshel v Cordal, Brosna, 5pm.

Verdict: Cordal.

SUNDAY

Kerry Club SFC relegation play-off.

Templenoe v An Ghaeltacht, Direen (Legion), 2pm.

The West Kerry men demonstrated enough in their group to suggest that they can avoid their promotion being a short one. 

Verdict: An Ghaeltacht.

Kerry Club IFC semi-finals.

Glenflesk v Kilcummin, Spa, 1pm.

The wiliness in the Kilcummin group and the leadership of Kevin McCarthy could be a factor in what should be a game of inches. 

Verdict: Kilcummin.

Fossa v Beaufort, Dr Crokes, 4pm.

Beaufort haven’t been demonstrating they are missing Seán O’Brien but they could here when Fossa are blessed with their inter-county pair. 

Verdict: Fossa.

Kerry Club IFC relegation final.

Desmonds v St Mary’s, JP O’Sullivan Park, Killorglin, 3pm.

A St Mary’s victory would be something of a surprise as they struggled last weekend. Verdict: Desmonds.

Kerry Club JFC semi-final.

Sneem/Derrynane v Finuge, Listry, 2pm.

Verdict: Finuge.
