The penultimate weekend of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship group stage is upon us.

As per usual, there is still an awful lot to be decided and first up this weekend is the clash between Tipperary and Clare.

That’s Tipperary, the 2025 All-Ireland hurling champions, taking on Clare, the 2024 All-Ireland hurling champions.

That’s Tipperary, who are sitting fourth in the table on one point, taking on Clare, who are sitting just above them in third on two points.

With first and second highly likely to be occupied by Cork and Limerick once again, this match will be huge in determining who finishes third and secures the last spot in the All-Ireland series.

It promises to be another Munster hurling thriller.
