Damien Cahalane and Diarmuid Healy are the replacements for injured pair Ciarán Joyce and Rob Downey as Ben O’Connor reshuffles his deck for Saturday’s Munster SHC Round 3 trip to Waterford.

Cahalane, who came on for cruciate tear victim Joyce in the win over Limerick, is a straightforward swap at full-back. Outside him, Eoin Downey moves from right-wing back to take his older sibling’s centre-back berth, while Tommy O’Connell moves from midfield to the half-back line.

Captain Darragh Fitzgibbon also drops back to join Tim O’Mahony in midfield with Healy filling the remaining spot in the half-forward line.

Coming into the panel are Shane Kingston and Brian O’Sullivan, who have been standby players in recent matches.

From their previous championship visit to Walsh Park two years ago when they were beaten by three points, eight starters remain – Patrick Collins, Cahalane, O’Donoghue, Mark Coleman, O’Connell, Fitzgibbon, Shane Barrett and Alan Connolly.
