The split-season debate wearies me. In particular, how it has morphed into a club player versus media row.

One one side, you have people simply claiming all club players love the split season and want it to continue. On the other, you have anybody in the media who feels there is a better alternative to the current split-season arrangement being accused of wanting a longer inter-county season to make their jobs easier.
