Luke McGrath is set for a move to Top 14 strugglers Perpignan, according to reports in France.
The Leinster and Ireland scrum-half is set for a move at the end of this season to Laurent Labit's side, who sit second from bottom of the French standings, according to Midi Olympique.
Perpignan already have experienced nines Tom Ecochard and James Hall on their books, but have been seeking further depth in the position.Â
McGrath, 33, has played 251 times for Leinster and has 20 Ireland caps, though is not in favour with Andy Farrell.
He signed a new deal with Leinster last March for the 25/26 campaign.
Perpignan are on a recruitment drive, having already added All Blacks backs Sevu Reece and Braydon Ennor, French prop Enzo Forletta, French centre Maëlan Rabut, and Italian tighthead Marco Riccioni.
But Midi does point out that the project would be undermined by relegation from France's top flight, which remains a threat. ely contingent on the club's survival in the Top 14.
