Hurling

Antrim SHC: St John’s 2-16 Loughgiel Shamrocks 1-18 A half century after their last county title, St John’s finally returned to the summit of Antrim hurling on Sunday.

Cork PSHCSarsfields 2-18 Midleton 1-14 Sarsfields won their second Cork Premier SHC title in three years, and their eighth in all, after a powerful display against Midleton in a low-key decider on Leeside.

Cork PIHC: Ballinhassig 2-22 Ballincollig 1-19 Ballinhassig marked their return to senior hurling with an impressive six-point victory over Ballincollig in the Cork Premier IHC final at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Sunday.

Limerick IHC: Murroe Boher 2-22 Bruree 1-13 Murroe Boher collected a second-ever Intermediate Hurling title, having swatted aside the challenge of Bruree at Fedamore.

Limerick PIHC: Garryspillane 4-19 Effin 2-25 (Garryspillane win 3-0 on penalties AET) With our own TJ Ryan watching on from the line, it took penalties to separate the sides in an extraordinary contest, which sees the Knocklong outfit return to senior in Limerick.

Limerick SHC: Na Piarsaigh 2-25 Doon 2-18 (after extra-time) Six unanswered Na Piarsaigh points in the first half of additional time set them on their way to a ninth Limerick SHC title in 14 years. Defending champions Doon will rue a wide count of 19 wides in normal time at TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Offaly SHC final: Kilcormac-Killoughey 1-24 Shinrone 2-14: Kilcormac-Killoughey claimed a third Offaly title in a row with hard-fought victory over Shinrone. 

Football 

Derry SFC final: Newbridge 1-17 Magherafelt 1-15 Newbridge retained their Derry title at wet Celtic Park. Eamon Young kicked the insurance point to end a spirited comeback.

Down SFC: Kilcoo 1-17 Carryduff 1-11 The Mourne County kingpins become the first club to win seven successive titles with this routine victory over Carryduff in Pairc Esler.

Fermanagh SFC final:  Erne Gaels 2-14 Derrygonnelly Harps 0-20. The sides will have to do it again. Erne Gaels snatched a draw at the death in an epic Fermanagh decider.

Kildare SFC final:  Athy 1-17 Naas 0-18: Philly McMahon's Naas came up short in their bid for a five-in-a-row, the powerhouse outfit undone by a terrific Athy effort.

Mayo SFC final: Ballina Stephenites 1-15 Westport 0-18 A last-gasp free from Frank Irwin saw Ballina Stephenites snatch a draw in the Mayo decider at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park.
