James Heffernan is the new Tipperary senior camogie manager.

The Clonoulty-Rossmore clubman was appointed on Thursday night on a two-year term. He replaces outgoing manager Denis Kelly, who departed after this year's All-Ireland semi-final defeat by Galway.

Kelly guided Tipp to National League and Munster titles during his term.

Heffernan managed his own club Clonoulty-Rossmore to its first ever Tipp senior camogie title in 2024.
