Returning Waterford football manager Ephie Fitzgerald has criticised Croke Park for standing idly by as Munster Council introduced a seeded Munster SFC draw for 2026.

Fitzgerald has labelled the seeding decision as “ridiculous”, calling for a reversal of the new format that will see Kerry and Cork, based on their 2025 League rankings, kept apart in the semi-final draw.
