Cork lead camogie All-Stars shortlist with 11 as champions Galway close on 10

Galway duo Aoife Donohue and Dervla Higgins along with Cork's Saoirse McCarthy have been nominated for the senior player of the year award.

Though they lost the All-Ireland final, Cork lead the way with 11 nominees for this year's Camogie All-Star awards. They are closely followed by champions Galway who have 10 players on the list.

In all, six counties are represented. Semi-finalists Waterford and Tipperary have six and five players nominated respectively while Kilkenny have three and Clare have one.
