Carrigaline 0-20 Ballymartle 1-16 A point in the dying seconds from Brian Kelleher kept Carrigaline in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship at the expense of local rivals Ballymartle on Sunday afternoon at Minane Bridge.
Ballincollig are through to the knockout stages after an outstanding victory over Castlemartyr at Carrigtwohill on Sunday. They'll face Carrigaline in the quarter-final as Ballinhassig's comeback against Kilworth saw them snatch top spot in the group on the head-to-head rule and an automatic place in the semis. Castlemartyr must beat Mallow in the relegation playoff to avoid the drop.
Ballinhassig progress from Group 2 thanks to this narrow victory.
Valley Rovers came good in the closing stages to secure qualification from Group 3 of the Co-op SuperStores Premier IHC with victory over Mallow at Páirc Uí Rinn.
A stunning second-half comeback by Dungourney saw a 1-13 to 0-11 deficit turn into a 0-28 to 1-21 victory over rivals Lisgoold at Castlelyons. The result means that Dungourney will finish top of Group 3 with maximum points.
