A replay has been ordered of the controversial Cork Intermediate AHC group game between Aghada and Kildorrery, which was originally ruled a draw.

Played on August 3rd at Caherlag, the score was registered as Aghada 1-22 Kildorrery 2-19. However, Aghada claimed a point of theirs by William Leahy - who was credited with 0-14 on the day - was wrongly awarded to Kildorrery, causing a two-point swing.

As first reported by the Echo, the Cork County Board Competitions Control Committee (CCC) has now voided the result of the match and ordered a replay, which will take place on Saturday, August 30 at Páirc Uí Rinn (6.30pm). Entry to the game will be free.
