Morris happy to trade injury risk for All-Ireland journey with Meath

Last Sunday week, Meath became the first team since Offaly in 1982 to defeat Dublin, Galway and Kerry in the one championship and yet they are outsiders again against Donegal on Sunday.

Each game is “a big enough risk” for Jordan Morris’s left knee but the way this season was going for Meath, it was a gamble he had to take.

In March’s Division 2 game against Louth, it seemed the 24-year-old’s season was over when he fractured a tibia and suffered grade 2 anterior cruciate and posterior cruciate ligament tears.
