Craig Morgan is talking about the road traveled to Ennis. The Tipperary midfielder remarks that they have had a “few setbacks” over the past two years. He immediately corrects himself. “A lot of setbacks,” he clarifies.

Saturday evening in Ennis bridged a gap of two years, two weeks, and three days to the county’s most recent Munster championship victory. The interim period, as Morgan hinted at, was not particularly kind.
