When Donál Óg Cusack was discussing his selection for the RTÉ man-of-the-match award after the Clare-Cork game in Ennis on Sunday, there were only two names in that discussion – Brian Hayes and Peter Duggan.

Hayes ran the first half. Duggan dominated the second. Hayes received the crystal but the call must have been decided by the toss of a coin.
