After such a facile way to end a 27-year wait for a Division 1 title, you would be wrong if you thought Pat Ryan would be hard pressed to mitigate the performance.

In a second half that yielded only seven points for Cork and four from play, he found the rod with which to whip his players this week ahead of going to Clare on Sunday week.
