Division 2: Roscommon and Monaghan promoted. Westmeath and Down relegated.

Division 3: Offaly and Kildare promoted. Antrim and Leitrim relegated.

5:30pm: Mayo will play Kerry in next weekend's Division 1 final. The game will be played a week before Mayo face Sligo in the Connacht SFC quarter-final. Tyrone, despite beating Dublin, have been relegated from Division 1 along with Derry. Armagh survive on the head-to-head rule by virtue of having beaten Tyrone.

5:24pm: Mayo are in the league final after beating Donegal 1-18 to 1-16. It looks like they will play Kerry. The Kingdom lead Galway by eight.

5:22pm: Mayo lead Donegal by two. Ryan O'Donoghue with the point.

5:21pm: Donegal hit the crossbar! Ciaran Thompson with the shot. Mayo lead by a point with 68 minutes lead on the clock.

5:19pm: Goal for Kerry! Damien Bourke gets this one. Kerry lead 3-20 to 2-15.

5:18pm: Kerry lead Galway by five.

5:16pm: Donegal have a penalty and it's saved! Mayo's Colm Reape saves Dáire Ó Baoill shot.

5:15pm: Tyrone have a second goal against Dublin through Michael McKernan. They lead Dublin 2-16 to 1-8.

5:13pm: More change in Castlebar. Matty Ruane kicks a two-pointer following a point by Paul Towey and Mayo lead Donegal by two.

5:12pm: Kerry lead Galway by three. Rob Finnerty gets a point for Galway, responding to Barry Dan O'Sullivan and Tony Brosnan scores for Kerry.

5:11pm: Donegal have scored seven of the last eight points against Mayo. Donegal lead by a point and are heading for a league final as it stands.

5:09pm: Galway are within two points of Kerry after a Rob Finnerty free. Connor Gleeson has a two-pointer free attempt to level it but the ball is held up in the strong Salthill wind.

5:07pm: The scores from Division 1: Mayo 1-14 Donegal 1-14; Galway 2-14 Kerry 2-16; Armagh 4-21 Derry 0-12; Tyrone 1-15 Dublin 1-6.

5:04pm: Kerry respond to Galway's fightback with two consecutive scores through Paul Geaney and Micheál Burns. They lead by three.

5:02pm: Kerry's Seán O'Brien looks to be injured. Barry Dan O'Sullivan is on for the Beaufort man.

5:00pm: Goal for Galway! Matthew Tierney gets it. Johnny Heaney follows that with a point and Galway trail Kerry by one.

4:59pm: A Seán Bugler two-pointer for Dublin cuts Tyrone's lead to nine.

4:57pm: Rob Finnerty and Damien Comer points have Galway within five of Kerry. Kerry lead 2-14 to 1-12.

4:56pm: Tyrone have extended their half-time lead against Dublin by one to 11 points.

4:54pm: Conor Turbitt has scored his second goal of the game for Armagh against Derry. They lead 4-13 to 0-9.

4:52pm: Kerry quick out of the blocks in Salthill. They've got the first three points of the second half and lead 2-14 to 1-10.

4:50pm: Good start to the second half for Donegal as well against Mayo. Half-time substitute Eoin McHugh gets a goal for Donegal. Mayo lead 1-11 to 1-8.

4:48pm: Sensational opening couple of minutes for Armagh at the start of the second half against Derry. They've nabbed three goals. They lead 3-12 to 0-8. Ross McQuillan, Barry McCambridge and Conor Turbitt got the Armagh goals.

4:46pm: They are underway in the second half of the Division 1 games.

4:42pm: Galway 1-10 Kerry 2-11. Wind coming right across the pitch, probably favouring Kerry for the second half. Great game. Kerry have had four goal chances, Sean Fitzgerald is a big loss from Galway full-back line. Maurice Brosnan

4:34pm: It should be noted that Tyrone's 10-point lead against Dublin has been aided by a significant breeze.

4:31pm: As things stand, it'll be Mayo and Kerry in the league final while Tyrone and Derry are heading for Division 2. It is all very tight though. Mayo have nine points while Kerry, Galway, Donegal and Dublin are all on eight.

4:29pm: Half-time at the Athletic Grounds and Armagh lead Derry 0-12 to 0-8.

4:28pm: Galway have made a couple of changes. Cein Darcy comes in for John Maher and Cathal Sweeney is on for Cillian Ó Curraoin.

4:26pm: Tyrone have a 10-point lead against Dublin in Omagh. They lead 1-14 to 1-4.

4:25pm: There's still a few minutes of the second half to play between Galway and Kerry. The Kingdom lead 2-9 to 1-9. Kerry have scored the last three points through Paul Geaney and David Clifford (2).

4:24pm: Half-time in Castlebar. Mayo lead Donegal 1-7 to 0-6.

4:20pm: Tyrone lead by seven against Dublin. 1-10 to 1-3.

4:19pm: Mayo now lead by three against Donegal. They were four down at one stage. Mayo 1-6 Donegal 0-6.

4:16pm: Galway have not made hay during Paul Murphy's time in the sin bin. Kerry lead by two now. 2-6 to 1-7.

4:11pm: The scores after around 22 minutes of action in Division 1: Mayo 1-4 Donegal 0-6; Galway 1-7 Kerry 2-3; Armagh 0-9 Derry 0-5; Tyrone 1-6 Dublin 1-3.

4:09pm: A reminder of the league final and relegation scenarios for Division 1...

With Galway, Dublin and Donegal tied at the top on eight points, score difference may be a factor in determining the finalists, although Donegal’s indifference about reaching the decider has to be considered.

They travel to Castlebar on Sunday where Mayo (7 points) could yet squeeze into the showdown after an unbeaten run from Round 3. Wins for Galway over Kerry in Salthill and Dublin against Tyrone in Omagh should see them through to the final.

Should either of them lose, however, Mayo can qualify with a win. The score difference tallies at the moment read Galway +17, Dublin +8, Donegal +4 and Mayo -3. Galway have the head-to-head advantage over Donegal and Mayo while Dublin have the edge over Galway and Mayo. Donegal beat Dublin in Round 2.

Relegation: Derry’s relegation was confirmed by their defeat to Mayo on Sunday. They will be joined in Division 2 next year by one of Tyrone (5 points), Armagh (5) and Kerry (6). All-Ireland champion Armagh’s home record is strong and they will be fancied to topple doomed Derry to move to seven points.

Kerry must match either Tyrone or Armagh’s home results to stay up, although in the event Jack O’Connor’s side finish on the same number of points as the Ulster sides, they will finish ahead based on their wins in Pomeroy and Tralee. Wins for Armagh and Tyrone coupled with a draw for the Kingdom and score difference will separate them. Kerry are currently +11, Armagh are -8 and Tyrone are 0.

There is also the possibility of Mayo going down but it is a remote one. A defeat to Donegal combined with wins for Armagh, Kerry and Tyrone would see Armagh, Mayo and Tyrone split on score difference.

4:07pm: Jack Carney has scored a goal for Mayo against Donegal. It's all level 1-3 to 0-6.

4:05pm: Kerry are down to 14 for the next 10 minutes. Paul Murphy has been black carded. It appears to have been for a third man tackle.

4:00pm: Tyrone lead Dublin 1-2 to 1-1. Con O'Callaghan got Dublin's goal and Darragh Canavan got one for Tyrone.

3:58pm: Goal for Galway now through Rob Finnerty. Galway lead 1-6 to 2-2 after 13 minutes.

3:56pm: Another goal for Kerry! Dylan Geaney this time. Kerry lead 2-1 to 0-5 after 10 minutes.

3:54pm: The scores from Division 1: Galway 0-5 Kerry 1-0; Armagh 0-3 Derry 0-2; Tyrone 0-1 Dublin 0-0; Mayo 0-1 Donegal 0-2.

3:51pm: Goal for Kerry! Gavin White with the score. Galway lead 0-4 to 1-0. A score against the run of play for Kerry. That seems to have settled them.

3:50pm: Galway lead Kerry 0-4 to 0-0.

3:46pm: After the conclusion of the Division 2, 3 and 4 games, here's how the promotion and relegation pictures look.

Division 2: Roscommon and Monaghan promoted. Westmeath and Down relegated.

Division 3: Offaly and Kildare promoted. Antrim and Leitrim relegated.

Division 4: Wexford and Limerick promoted.

3:45pm: The Division 1 games are underway

3:40pm: One more change for Galway against Kerry:  Cein D'Arcy out for Finnian Ó Laoi

3:38pm: Full-time from Ennis. Offaly lose 2-14 to 2-9 and still go up. Clare beat both promoted Offaly and Kildare but finish third in the third tier for the second spring in succession. Score difference is what cost the Banner. They had to win by 11, their five-point winning margin wasn't sufficient. Clare finished with 15 wides. Eoghan Cormican

3:37pm: In Division 3, Kildare and Offaly have been promoted while Antrim and Leitrim have been relegated. Clare miss out on promotion on points difference.

3:36pm: The full-time scores from Division 3: Kildare 1-26 Antrim 1-15; Sligo 0-32 Leitrim 0-10; Fermanagh 1-18 Laois 2-13; Clare 2-14 Offaly 2-9

3:33pm: Aaron Griffin has grabbed another goal for Clare. They lead by five, 2-14 to 2-9 against Offaly. Five of the seven allotted injury-time minutes have been played.

3:30pm: 15 minutes to throw-in of the Division 1 games. Tyrone v Dublin will be live on TG4 while the other three games will be on their YouTube channel.

3:28pm: Cork football’s seemingly annual scare of relegation and missing out on Sam Maguire Cup is all but over for another year after a tigerish collective effort in Cavan. Read John Fogarty's match report from Kingspan Breffni.

3:24pm: Aaron Griffin has goaled for Clare. They lead 1-14 to 2-8 against Offaly. They've five minutes left to build up the required 11-point lead to secure promotion. Impossible? Eoghan Cormican

3:22pm: Four Galway changes against Kerry. Sean Fitzgerald, Jack Glynn, Matthew Thompson, Shane Walsh are out. Seán Mulkerrin, Kieran Molloy, Cillian Ó Curraoin and Damien Comer are in. Walsh and Thompson are not in the 26. Brian Mannion and Liam O'Conghaile are in. Graham O'Sullivan starts for Kerry instead of Barry Dan O'Sullivan. Maurice Brosnan

3:20pm: Confirmation here from Tom Clancy, who was at Mick Neville Park, that James Naughton did indeed score an incredible 4-12, 4-3 from play, for Limerick in their crucial promotion securing victory over Waterford.

3:16pm: In Division 3, Offaly and Kildare are heading up as it stands while Antrim and Leitrim will be relegated.

3:15pm: So in Division 2, Monaghan and Roscommon are promoted and will play in the final. Westmeath and Down are relegated. Louth stay up after their victory over Meath.

3:11pm: The full-times scores in Division 2: Westmeath 1-19 Roscommon 2-16; Cavan 0-19 Cork 0-21; Monaghan 2-17 Down 0-24. They are still playing between Louth and Meath. Louth lead 1-19 to 0-17.

3:07pm: Westmeath have drawn with Roscommon. It's Westmeath's first point of this year's league.

3:07pm: And no sooner had we pressed send on our last dispatch when Offaly goalkeeper booted over the first two-pointer (free) of the afternoon. Offaly lead 2-8 to 0-12.

3:06pm: Ten minutes into the second-half at Ennis and Clare have pulled level, 2-6 to 0-12. The five-point half-time deficit has been wiped out by Keelan Sexton, Eoin Cleary, Emmet McMahon, and Cillian Rouine. The current scoreline sees Offaly promoted. Eoghan Cormican

3:04pm: Cork win! Their Division 2 status is safe.

3:03pm: Gearoid McKiernan with a massive two-pointer for Cavan. They trail Cork by two.

3:01pm: It's going down to the wire between Monaghan and Down. Down lead 0-21 to 2-14.

2:59pm: As things stand, Westmeath and Leitrim and going to be the only sides to not secure a point in the four Divisions across their seven games.

2:58pm: Around five minutes to play in Division 2. Roscommon and Monaghan are in the promotion places.

2:56pm: Neil Lordan again putting his body on the line for Cork but then Chris Óg Jones was crucial to blocking a McKiernan two-point attempt. Four-point game and right now Cork are fourth in the table. It's Cavan 0-15 Cork 0-19. John Fogarty

2:50pm: They half-time scores in Division 3: Kildare 0-9 Antrim 0-14; Clare 0-6 Offaly 2-5; Fermanagh 1-6 Laois 0-8; Sligo 0-15 Leitrim 0-6

2:48pm: A couple of Cavan two-pointers had brought the home side to within three but Cork have sent over a couple of points to ease tensions. Neil Lordan has had one hell of a game. It's Cavan 0-13 Cork 0-18. John Fogarty

2:45pm: We'll get confirmation of this when the match report comes in but we're hearing James Naughton scored an incredible 4-12 for Limerick in their Division 4 promotion securing victory over Waterford.

2:43pm: Just over 15 minutes to play in the other Division 2 games. Westmeath 1-10 Roscommon 2-14; Louth 1-17 Meath 0-10; Monaghan 1-7 Down 0-18

2:42pm: Dara McVeety lands a two-pointer for Cavan. They trail Cork by four.

2:41pm: 52 minutes on the clock between Cavan and Cork. Cork lead 0-16 to 0-10.

2:39pm: Half-time in Ennis. Offaly 2-5 to Clare 0-6. The home side have registered 11 wides in total, with at least another four short. There's also been two goal chances not taken. Offaly must surely be in disbelief at holding a five-point interval lead such is the extent to which they've been outplayed.

2:37pm: Cathal Flynn has drilled in Offaly's second goal in the player after Clare recorded their 10th wide. 2-5 to 0-6, 33 minutes on the clock. Clare's hopes now lie with Antrim. If they continue to lead Kildare all the way to the finish, then Clare need only beat Offaly, the margin irrelevant. Eoghan Cormican

2:37pm: The other scores from Division 4: Longford 1-10 Wexford 2-18 ; Tipperary 0-12 Wicklow 0-21; London 1-17 Carlow 1-18.

2:32pm: Limerick are promoted! They've beaten Waterford 4-24 to 1-17. They will play in the Division 4 final against Wexford next weekend.

2:31pm:

Clare's wastage is off the charts here in Ennis. The scoreline of 1-4 to 0-6 in Offaly's favour does an incredibly poor job in telling the story of a game Clare are dominating everywhere bar on the scoreboard.

The Banner have kicked nine wides, in total, six of them from outside the 40-metre arc. They've also missed two goals and dropped three short. Eoghan Cormican

2:26pm: Cavan started with the first two points of the second half but since Cork have been lording the kick-out and kicked three points through Sean McDonnell (2) and Brian O'Driscoll. They had another couple of shots which went wide. Cork lead 0-14 to 0-7. John Fogarty

2:24pm. The second half is underway at Kingspan Breffni between Cavan and Cork. Cork's most important player now is Gearóid McKiernan's marker. Keeping the long-range specialist quiet in this half where Cavan have the wind will go a long way to helping Cork. John Fogarty

2:22pm: The scores after just over 20 minutes of Division 3 action: Sligo 0-10 Leitrim 0-3; Fermanagh 1-4 Laois 0-5; Clare 0-4 Offaly 1-3, Kildare 0-8 Antrim 0-6.

2:19pm: Clare's early wastefulness, which included a second goal opportunity not taken since our last dispatch, has been punished. Jack Bryant was the player to touch Jordan Hayes' inviting delivery to the Clare net. A Shane Tierney point has Offaly 1-1 to 0-2 in front. Eoghan Cormican

2:17pm: In Division 2, Roscommon and Monaghan are occupying the promotion places at half-time while Down and Westmeath are the in relegation spots.

2:13pm: 15 minutes or so to play in the Division 4 games. Limerick 2-15 Waterford 1-12; Tipperary 0-7 Wicklow 0-17; Longford 0-9 Wexford 2-12; Lndon 1-14 Carlow 0-15.

2:12pm: All Clare in the early stages at Ennis, but only an Eoin Cleary (free) to show for their early dominance. They've already left a goal, a close-range free, and a pair of two-pointers after them. Could prove costly as remember the Banner need to win by 11 to leapfrog Offaly into a Division 3 promotion berth. Strong crossfield breeze at Cusack Park, but hard to say it is favouring either. Eoghan Cormican

2:10pm: 10 minutes into the Division 3 games, here are the scores: Sligo 0-3 Leitrim; Fermanagh 0-2 Laois 0-3; Clare 0-1 Offaly 0-0, Kildare 0-5 Antrim 0-0.

2:06pm: Half-time in the Division 2 games. It's Cavan 0-5 Cork 0-11; Louth 1-13 Meath 0-5; Westmeath 1-5 Roscommon 2-10; Monaghan 1-3 Down 0-11.

2:05pm: Here's how the promotion picture looks in Division 3...

All down to the final round. Kildare, despite losing their last two games, still look good to go up despite falling to third place (8 points) behind the teams they lost to, Offaly (10) and Clare (8).

The Lilywhites face Antrim in Newbridge this weekend knowing their superior score difference can be a telling factor – their return is +48, Offaly’s is +37 and Clare’s reads +16. Clare’s home record is impressive, but it will probably take a 11-point win to gain promotion if, as expected, Kildare defeat Antrim.

Fermanagh (7 points) could come into the promotion equation if both The Banner and Kildare fail to win at home. It’s unlikely but should Fermanagh defeat Laois and conclude their campaign on the same number of points as two of them a mini-league (a table based on the results of the tied teams against each other) will decide who finishes ahead of him due to the walkover The Erne County received from Leitrim this past weekend.

And relegation...

Leitrim’s decision to concede to Fermanagh confirmed their demotion from Division 3. Although there is no guarantee they will field a team, they now face Sligo (5 points) whose rearguard action in the latter half of the league has been impressive and they look all but certain of staying up following their latest win over Antrim (4) at the weekend.

Andy McEntee was resigned to Antrim’s relegation after that reverse as even if they beat Kildare and reach six points and Laois (6) lose the northern side would fall because of the head-to-head differential. Laois travel to Enniskillen.

2:04pm: Limerick have extended their lead against Waterford to five points. They are well on track for promotion from Division 4.

2:02pm: Some of Cork's near-hand tackling has been excellent, particularly from their corner-backs. Chris Óg Jones, apart from kicking three points from play, has made one great interception too. Six points up. John Fogarty

2:00pm: The games are underway in Division 3. It's Kildare v Antrim, Sligo v Leitrim, Clare v Offaly and Fermanagh v Laois.

1:59pm: Louth are leading well against Meath 1-9 to 0-1 at the moment. Louth have three two-pointers on the board.

1:54pm: Limerick's chances of gaining promotion from Division 4 are looking good at the moment. They set second, a point ahead of Wicklow. Wexford had already sealed their spot in Division 3 for next year.

1:51pm: Cork have jumped into double-digits after 20 minutes. A couple of two-pointers have augmented their scoreline but they do have the wind and it will be a case of putting up a lead and hoping Cavan don't chase it enough to catch them. After Matty Taylor's kick went wide earlier, Paul Walsh had a goal attempt saved. Cork obviously don't want to be regretting these missed chances. They lead 0-10 to 0-3. John Fogarty
1:49pm: In Division 2, it's Louth 1-5 Meath 0-1; Westmeath 1-0 Roscommon 2-5; Cavan 0-3 Cork 0-9; Monaghan 1-0 Down 0-6

1:47pm: The scores at half-time in Division 4: Limerick 2-9 Waterford 1-8; London 1-8 Carlow 0-10; Tipperary 0-6 Wicklow 0-12; Longford 0-8 Wexford 2-7

1:46pm: A reminder of how the promotion picture looks in Division 4...

All very straightforward in the basement tier. Wexford, unbeaten to date, are long promoted. They’ll play in the third tier next spring for the first time since 2018. Who can join them is a short list. Striving for second are Limerick (8 points) and Wicklow (7).

The former hold all the aces. Victory at home to Waterford sends the Treaty up irrespective of how Wicklow fare away to Tipp. A draw would also take care of business for Limerick, so long as any Wicklow victory over Tipp didn’t stretch to 15 points or more.

In sum, the only realistic means of Wicklow leapfrogging Limerick at the death is for Waterford to win at Rathkeale and Wicklow to do likewise in Clonmel.

1:45pm: Chris Óg Jones with the point and Cork now lead 0-8 to 0-2 against Cavan.

1:44pm: Goal goes abegging for Matty Taylor after a stray pass by Pádraig Faulkner. Wind-assisted Cork's press on Cavan kick-outs creating plenty of openings but they're only two points up. John Fogarty

1:43pm: Cork extend their lead against Cavan to four points with their second two-pointer of the day, this time from Mark Cronin.

1:42pm: In Division 4, Limerick have surged into an advantage against Waterford and lead 2-9 to 1-8 at the break.

1:40pm: Cork lead 0-4 to 0-2 against Cavan. Brian O'Driscoll with the latest score for the Rebels. Matty Taylor just missed a glorious goal chance for Cork.

1:39pm: Early doors but Brian Hurley is causing bother for Brian O'Connell. Cork are isolating him in there and he's picked off two points, one from a free he won himself. John Fogarty

1:37pm: Here's how it looks promotion-wise in Division 2:

Of the four in the promotion bottleneck, Monaghan are best poised. Gabriel Bannigan’s men only require a draw at home to Down. And even if they were to lose, their current +33 score difference is so superior to that of Roscommon (+19), Meath (+10), and Cavan (-4), they’ll likely still go up should two of the latter three win this weekend and pull up alongside them on 10 points.

If Monaghan move on from their current 10-point total, head-to-head will decide second should two of Roscommon, Meath, and Cavan finish tied on either nine or 10 points. Roscommon would be in trouble in that instance as they lost to both Meath and Cavan, while the clash of the latter two ended in a win for the Royals.

Given their +19 score difference and the fact they're playing already relegated Westmeath, Roscommon will be the county, more than the other two, looking for a three-way tie.

Considering Cavan’s inferior score difference, they must overcome Cork and hope Roscommon and Meath slip up to jump from fourth to second. Or, win at home to Cork, Roscommon do likewise, Meath fall away to Louth, and Monaghan get some sort of a result against Down. All of that has Raymond Galligan’s men edging Roscommon for promotion on the head-to-head.

And for relegation:

Westmeath, as noted, are already gone. One from Down, Louth, and Cork will join them. A draw gets Cork to safety. They could still survive even if they lose away to Cavan, provided both Down and Louth don’t pick up maximum points in their respective games against Monaghan and Meath.

If Cork lose, and both Down and Louth win, then score difference will decide which one of the three goes down. Cork are currently -9, Louth -19, and Down -11. Given Louth have the head-to-head on Down, if they both lost or both drew, Louth stay afloat and Down drop.

1:35pm: John Fogarty and Eoghan Cormican spelled out all the permutations for today's action earlier in the week. We'll give you a reminder.

1:34pm: Cork lead Cavan 0-2 to 0-1 after four minutes. Cork could end the day either relegated to Division or promoted to Division 1. It's that tight in the second tier.

1:30pm: All of today's Division 1 and 2 games are being broadcast live by TG4 across their TV channel, app and YouTube channel.

1:25pm: In five minutes, the Division 2 games throw in. It's Monaghan v Down, Cavan v Cork, Westmeath v Roscommon and Louth v Meath.

1:20pm: The Division 4 games got underway at 1pm. 20 minutes into Limerick v Waterford and the Deise lead 1-5 to 1-4 while its 0-5 each between Tipperary and Wicklow. In the other games, London lead Carlow 1-7 to 0-5 and Wexford lead Longford 0-2 to 1-5.
