Duggan, Carey and Tynan all banned as red card appeals fail 

Carey is now set to miss Saturday’s Division 1A clash with Limerick in UPMC Nowlan Park, while Duggan and Tynan will also miss the Clare-Tipperary clash in Thurles on Saturday week. All received one-match suspensions.

The three red cards contested by Clare, Kilkenny and Tipperary have been upheld by the Central Hearings Committee.

Peter Duggan, Mikey Carey and Alan Tynan’s dismissals last weekend were challenged but the decisions by referees Liam Gordon and Seán Stack were endorsed by the disciplinary body.
