The GAA’s former national referees chief Willie Barrett has encouraged match officials to continue to stamp out head-high fouls for the remainder of the season.
Two-time All-Ireland final referee Barrett was in UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday where Seán Stack issued two straight red cards to Kilkenny and one to Tipperary for what were considered dangerously high tackles.
