Contrary to the argument put forward by GAA president Jarlath Burns, provincial chiefs, and high-ranking county board officers, former Camogie Association president Hilda Breslin has said financing increased facilities for the Gaelic games family is not a cost of integration.

During his president’s speech at last weekend’s Congress, Burns told delegates that an ā€œindisputable factā€ of integration is the requirement for external financial assistance because of the stark imbalance that exists in facilities and general operations between the GAA, Camogie Association, and LGFA.
