Contrary to the argument put forward by GAA president Jarlath Burns, provincial chiefs, and high-ranking county board officers, former Camogie Association president Hilda Breslin has said financing increased facilities for the Gaelic games family is not a cost of integration.

During his president’s speech at last weekend’s Congress, Burns told delegates that an “indisputable fact” of integration is the requirement for external financial assistance because of the stark imbalance that exists in facilities and general operations between the GAA, Camogie Association, and LGFA.
