As teams begin to make the most of their goalkeeper in Gaelic football, there will be a need for teams to have a plan in place to counter them, according to former Mayo manager and Football Review Committee member James Horan.

Speaking on the Irish Examiner Gaelic football podcast, Horan spoke about the early signs from challenge games last week. Mayo played Roscommon midweek and Monaghan on Saturday as pre-season games continue to road-test the new Gaelic football rules.
