Jack Cahalane is being lined up for Cork's 2025 senior hurling squad after confirming he will not be part of John Cleary's football panel next season.

As first reported by the Southern Star, Castlehaven forward Cahalane has stepped away from the football panel, meaning Cleary will be without yet another forward option having already lost St Finbarr's sharpshooter Steven Sherlock and Damien Gore of Kilmacabea.
