Derry's Tally confirmation creates new headache for Jack O'Connor and Kerry

The Tally decision to swap Kerry for Derry caught the Kingdom off guard, not least because Tally himself had sat down and said he was all in with his new role for 2025.

When Derry's GAA executive ratifies the name of Paddy Tally as their new senior football boss on Thursday, it completes the roster of inter-county football management across 33 counties for 2025.

But the Derry heir creates a new problem in Kerry, who have now lost two performance coaches in a matter of months - the latter before he'd even began work for next season.
