That's our lot for today. Thanks for following along. As ever, keep your eyes on www.irishexaminer.com/sport throughout the evening and tomorrow for more reaction, analysis and talking points from across the country.
The final word for today can go to Gavin White and Dr Crokes who are savouring a return to the summit in Kerry. It didn't look likely at half-time but speaking with the Examiner's Maurice Brosnan, White revealed a dressing room discussion helped spur them on. Read the reaction from Austin Stack Park here.
While we're nearing the end of a hectic, helter-skelter Sunday of county final action, don't forget that the drama will extend into Monday. The bank holiday afternoon will see the Clare senior hurling decider between Feakle and Sixmilebridge take place at Cusack Park tomorrow, the first time the sides will ever meet in a final. Expect fireworks!
As Brendan O'Brien explores in his match report from the Gaelic Grounds, Doon's Treaty triumph was a long time coming: "This was the eighth year in a row for them to make the last four and it was their third crack at the decider in that time having lost the previous two, in 2018 and 2020, to their city opponents here. Third time lucky, and all that." Read Brendan's full Limerick SHC Final report here with reaction to follow...
Wondering what it means to the men from Doon who have helped their club to a first-ever Limerick hurling title. These full-time scenes from TG4 do a good job of summing it all up...

As the Examiner's Maurice Brosnan points out below, Glen's stunning defeat in Derry is in keeping with a miserable campaign for the most recent All Ireland club finalists in both codes who have struggled mightily to back up their successes in 2024.
Wow. All-Ireland club finalists in hurling and football are now out. None of the four defended their county title. https://t.co/OE5P8T7UFB

It's all over at the TUS Gaelic Grounds where we have a little history on our hands. A 59th-minute Adam English free - his 11th score of the day - has proved to be the difference for Doon who claim a first ever Limerick senior hurling title with a 0-16 to 2-9 defeat of a three-in-a-row-chasing Na Piarsaigh.
A pretty seismic result in Derry where the reigning county, provincial and All Ireland club champions Glen have been dethroned by Newbridge who have earned their first SFC crown in 35 years. In challenging conditions it finished Newbridge 1-12 Glen 2-8!
Back to Fermanagh where it proved impossible to separate the sides. After a tense last ten minutes plus two more the SFC final finished Enniskillen Gaels 0-8 Erne Gaels 0-8. The men from Belleek had fought back to hold a one-point lead going into the last 10 but the teams will have to do it all again in a replay.
Jack Cahalane was named as player of the match after an impressive display in the Cork decider but in truth there was a host of contenders for champions Haven with captain Mark Collins immense in the second half.
Congratulations to @CastlehavenGAA on winning the McCarthy Insurance Group PSFC Final, defeating Nemo Rangers. A special congratulations to Jack Cahalane who was awarded Player of the Match.

Best of luck to Castlehaven in the Munster Club Championship on Sun, 10th Nov. pic.twitter.com/6ML38nYPws
Castlehaven celebrations will surely go long into the night. Here's Eoghan Cormican's report from Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Haven's back-to-back triumph.
At the Gaelic Grounds, Peter Casey is on for Na Piarsaigh as they trail Doon by a point with 17 minutes to go in the Limerick senior hurling final. It's his first action since breaking an ankle in April with the county.
In Fermanagh, Enniskillen Gaels are a point up on Erne Gaels in the SFC decider after 15 mins: 0-7 to 0-6. Joe Callaghan will take us through the last of the afternoon's games.
Full time at Páirc Uí Chaoimh: Castlehaven beat Nemo Rangers -- 0-16 0-11 -- to defend their title and claim a seventh county championship!
Doon have recovered brilliantly from the concession of two goals inside a minute to Na Piarsaigh’s Adrian Breen and David Dempsey in the Bon Secour Hospital Limerick hurling final.
The two green flags were raised midway through the period but Derek McGrath’s side, chasing a first ever senior title against a club going for three-in-a-row, kept them quiet before and after it, hitting five points on the spin to close out the half.
All to play for with 30 to go. It stands 2-3 to 0-8 at the break.
Michéal Maguire surely with the insurance score for the Haven. They lead 0-16 to 0-11 in injury-time.
We're into injury time in the Cork Premier SFC final and Castlehaven -- under plenty of Nemo pressure -- are four points clear and on the brink of retaiing their title.
Jack Cahalane is named man of the match by Conor Counihan.
The silver jubilee team of UCC are presented to the crowd at Páirc Uí Chaoimh. There's a few familair faces in the class of 99.

Have we just witnessed a key passage in the Cork decider. Mark Collins intercepted an attempted Luke Horgan handpass. The Haven went through the hands. Conor Cahalane, Michael Hurley, and Brian Hurley all moved possession. Subs Conor O'Driscoll applied the finish. Castlehaven lead 0-14 to 0-11 with four minutes of regulation time remaining.
Mark Cronin has just hit the post for Nemo. They need scores and can't find them.
Into the final quarter at Páirc Uí Chaoimh and still the minimum between Castlehaven and Nemo. Rory Maguire sallied forward for a Haven white flag, Nemo closing the gap as Mark Cronin punished a foul on Alan O'Donovan. 0-12 to 0-11. 49 minutes gone.
Na Piarsaigh lead Doon 2-2 to 0-3 halfway through the first-half of the Bon Secour Hospital Limerick hurling final after two goals inside a minute from Adrian Breen and David Dempsey, the second a sensational strike hit from the narrowest of angles.
Quality of point-taking in Páirc Uí Chaoimh has been exemplary in the opening nine minutes of the second half. Brian Hurley had his first from play on 35 minutes. That was the first in a Haven three-in-a-row and included Michael Hurley's magnificent fourth. It turned a one-point interval deficit into a two-point lead.
Kevin Fulignati's Nemo's reply was nearly as good, as was half-time sub Conor Cahalane's thereafter. A Paul Kerrigan free has Nemo back within one. 0-11 to 0-10 to Castlehaven. 42 minutes gone.
It's all over in Wexford where it finishes Castketown 0-9 Gusserane O'Rahilly's 0-6.
A man-of-the-match performance from county man Darragh Kirwan propelled Naas to a doubly historic four-in-a-row of Kildare SFC titles. Read Paul Keane's report from Newbridge.
Brian Hurley has kicked a point to level up the game at Páirc Uí Chaoimh meanwhile.
Half-time sub for Castlehaven. Conor Cahalane replaces his older brother Damien. The latter had been heavily strapped. 0-8 to 0-7 in favour of Nemo, second-half just underway.
"Fears of a washout dampening this blockbuster contest proved ill-founded as the opening three minutes yielded three scores." Maurice Brosnan reports from the Kerry SFC final as Dr Crokes get the job done.
In Wexford, there's just a point in it in the SFC final. Castletown 0-7 Gusserane O'Rahilly's 0-6 after 53 minutes or so.
It's half time at Tuam Stadium and Corofin are in control of the Galway decider; they lead Moycullen 1-6 to 0-4.
Thomastown are Kilkenny senior hurling champions for the second time in their history after a commanding dismantling of O’Loughlin Gaels in UPMC Nowlan Park this afternoon. Here's John Fogarty's on-the-whistle report.
Newcastle West got the better of Garryspillane on a scoreline of 2-12 to 1-11 in the Limerick Intermediate Hurling final at a wet and dull the TUS Gaelic Grounds. Throw-in for the senior decider between Doon and Na Piarsaigh is at 4.15. The teams line out as selected. Limerick player Peter Casey is named on the bench. If he plays it will be his first action since injuring an ankle in the spring.
A beauty off the right for Paul Kerrigan followed by another Ronan Dalton effort - he now has three, we wrongly attributed a white flag belonging to Mark Cronin to him - shoved Nemo 0-7 to 0-6 in front on 26 minutes. Conor Horgan has just added another for the city men. They lead by two. It's the first time either side has led by two in this opening half. Michael Hurley replied with his third on the stroke of half-time. 0-8 to 0-7 at the break in favour of Nemo.
And Adrian Russell back in harness for the next hour...

Dr Crokes are Kerry SFC champions again. They overcame Dingle by 3-8 to 0-11. That three-goal burst in the second half swung this one.

Thomastown are Kilkenny senior hurling champions for the second time in their history after a commanding dismantling of O’Loughlin Gaels in UPMC Nowlan Park, says John Fogarty. They follow up intermediate success with the senior title. 0-18 to 0-7 FT.

Gerry Buckley reports from Mullingar: Match abandoned after 13 minutes by vastly experienced referee Barry Kelly with Lough Lene Gaels leading Castletown-Geoghegan by 0-2 to 0-0. Their points came from Eoin Daly and David Williams.
Ronan Dalton narrowly misses the posts on 16 minutes for what would have been his fourth point from play of the Cork final. He's responsible for all bar one of Nemo's 0-4. Jack Cahalane nabs his second. The Haven go back in front. 0-5 to 0-4. 17 minutes gone. Eoghan Cormican
Inclement is word of the day. And Westmeath SAHC final has 'fallen foul' as they say.
Kieran O'Leary adds point for Crokes and Western wait for Kerry senior title looks set to continue. Dingle losing 3-6 to 0-8 now. Hang on Dingle are stirring with a point each from Paul and Conor Geaney.
All over in Galway where Corofin won 2-9 to 0-9. Gary Sice still going very strong with 1-2 for the winners. That's just the 14 titles for him.
Raining goals now for Crokes in Kerry final. A third from Evan Looney and they lead Dingle 3-4 to 0-8. Make that 3-5 with a Micheal Burns point.
Good early signs in Cork final, reckons Eoghan Cormican.
"In stark contrast to last year's turgid affair, very lively opening to the Nemo-Castlehaven Cork Premier football decider. Points from Jack Cahalane and Michael Hurley have sandwiched a pair from Ronan Dalton and Bryan Hayes. The latter was a late addition to the Nemo team in place of Ross Corkery. 0-2 apiece. Eight minutes played."
"This is turning into a rout for Thomastown in their first senior final in 36 years," says John Fogarty. They lead by nine points, 0-14 to 0-5, and it feels unassailable. O'Loughlin Gaels look nothing like the team that pushed St Thomas' so close for the All-Ireland title nine months ago.
Eire Og look well-placed in Clare football final. Lead Kilmurry-Ibrickane 1-7 to 0-6 with about 10 left. Not too many free-scoring clashes today.
Whoaa, it's all been turned on its head in Kerry. Two quick goals for Crokes. First by David Shaw, then three minutes later Kieran O'Leary. Crokes now lead 2-4 to 0-8. About 15 left.

Dingle are three up on Crokes in the Kerry final early in the second half. 0-7 to 0-4.
Thomastown lead O'Loughlin Gaels by eight points, 0-12 to 0-4, in the eighth minute of the second half. The ball is like soap for O'Loughlins' county men and Fionán Mackessy is being marked superbly by Brian Staunton.

Gusserane O’Rahilly’s are 3-1 up on Castletown in the Wexford final. Rain getting worse in Cork as throw-in nears in Prem Senior final.
Carrigaline return to the Cork PSFC after a 0-16 to 1-11 win over Knocknagree in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. They trailed by two at the break, but a superb second half in which Éanna Desmond was everywhere ended the Knocknagree fairytale for another year.
Newcastle West are leading the Bouncers 2-10 to 0-10 in Limerick. Just five or so left. TJ a worried man.
Jack McCabe has a goal for Corofin in Galway. They lead Moycullen 1-4 to 0-3.

Larry Ryan here taking the baton. Carrigaline are Cork Senior A champs and return to the top tier. Strong second half to beat Knocknagree 0-16 to 1-11 at the Páirc.
Half-time in Kilkenny: Thomastown 0-9 O'Loughlin Gaels 0-4 The champions are under the pump here. Thomastown may have had the wind in the first half but they have been by far the better team in a frenzied first half full of spills and late hits. John Donnelly has been in exquisite form. He's four points to his name and set up the last converted free of the half.
Scorers for Thomastown: J. Donnelly (0-4); R. Donnelly (0-2, frees); J.J. Farrell, R. Connellan, S. Donnelly (0-1 each).
Scorers for O’Loughlin Gaels: M. Bergin (0-2, 1 free); O. Wall, C. Heary (0-1 each).
In Kerry, Dingle lead Dr Crokes on a scoreline of 0-6 to 0-4 as we approach the break. Gavin White has bombed forward to kick two outstanding scores in tough conditions. Larry Ryan will take us through the next hour.
A familiar face in Nowlan Park:

Corofin are turning the screw in Galway with a strong finish to the first half:

In Clare, a Gavin Cooney goal has Eire Óg level after 11 mins against Kilmurry-Ibrickane: 1-0 to 0-3.
At the midpoint of the first half in Kilkenny and Thomastown are doing all the hurling. They lead 0-4 to 0-1. In-form John Donnelly has two points to his name and O'Loughlin Gaels have yet to find any rhythm.

With two minutes played in the second half, Knocknagree lead Carrigaline by 1-7 to 0-7 in the final of the Cork SAFC in SuperValu Pairc Uí Chaoimh.
At the moment, Anthony O'Connor's goal in the 18th minute separates the sides, and what a beauty it was. He intercepted a Callum Dungan re-start and floated the ball beautifully into an empty net.
One late change for O'Loughlin Gaels in Kilkenny SHC final: Luke Hogan is replaced by Conor Kelly. Conditions have turned pretty soft in UPMC Nowlan Park. O'Loughlins' white kit is already dark with dirt.
Castlehaven v Nemo Rangers is the big one on Leeside today, of course. Some pre-game listening?
Haven and Cork legend Niall Cahalane visited the studios to record this illuminating conversation with Tony Leen.
