The Gaelic Players Association (GPA) have been assured there will be no further Friday night games following this evening’s interprovincial semi-finals in Croke Park.

In a press briefing on Thursday, chief executive Tom Parsons admitted the 6pm throw-in for the first of today’s games, Connacht v Leinster, “didn’t sit well with the GPA” and they expressed that sentiment to GAA president Jarlath Burns and director general Tom Ryan.
