WHEN Niall and Ailish Cahalane moved from West Cork to live and rear a family in Cork City, a huge part of them never left Castlehaven. 

Niall played with the club until he was over 40 and his eldest son, Damien, began making that two-hour round trip to training with his dad and a fleet of Castlehaven players not long after he could walk.
