Ballyhale Shamrocks manager Jimmy Meagher steps down

Shamrocks exited the Kilkenny championship when they lost their last-eight game to Thomastown last weekend.

Ballyhale Shamrocks are on the lookout for a new manager after Jimmy Meagher stepped down on Thursday.

Meagher, who previously coached the decorated south Kilkenny club to All-Ireland success, had taken over from Pat Hoban following their defeat in last year’s county SHC final to O’Loughlin Gaels.
