The second of potentially five Cork Limerick clashes in 2026 is set to take place this weekend.

In terms of significance, it would also be considered the second least important of the potential quintuple-header with it being trumped by their Munster championship meeting in April and possible Munster final and All-Ireland series showdowns later in the season.
