Darragh Long and Declan Quill step down as joint Kerry ladies football managers
Fifty-six days after they guided Kerry to All-Ireland ladies football glory, joint-managers Darragh Long and Declan Quill have stepped down.
The decision of the two men to exit the All-Ireland winning Kerry dressing-room is not a massive surprise given how close the pair had come to stepping down 12 months earlier and the one last push that culminated in a famine-ending All-Ireland final win on August 4.
