Slaughtneil manager Mark Doran appears to be on course to succeed Mickey Harte as Derry boss with the only question mark now surrounding the identity of his management team.

Former Down footballer Doran has been was first involved at senior inter-county level when he was a selector and coach with his native county between 2019 and ‘21 under Paddy Tally. This past season he has worked with Oisín McConville in Wicklow.
