Kerry star Sean O’Shea was in blistering form for Kenmare Shamrocks as the club side bounced back strongly from their defeat to Dr Crokes last weekend to thrash Feale Rangers in the Kerry SFC (Round 2B) game at Fitzgerald Stadium.
The centre-forward hit 1-6 before the break as the winners were virtually out of sight by the half-time whistle (1-13 to 0-5), and O’Shea topped up his tally with four more points from play on the resumption against the beleaguered divisional outfit.
Goalkeeper Jack Enright, and wing-back Conor Kennelly, were excellent for Feale Rangers, but they were always fighting a losing battle, despite a brave second half display, embellished by a consolation goal from substitute Thomas Dillon in the 41st minute.

The North Kerry side reduced the deficit to seven points (1-17 to 1-10) at one stage, but Kenmare Shamrocks finished much the stronger, substitute Jack Tangney creating two goals in the space of four minutes – finished with aplomb by David Hallissey and Stephen O’Brien.
Feale Rangers were gutsy to the finish, but the game ended on a sour note for them, with the sendings-off of Cormac Mulvihill (straight red) and Cillian Trant (second yellow) in the closing ten minutes, while they also saw Kerry U-20 star Eddie Healy stretchered off with a lower leg injury at the death.
