The Mayo v Kerry Global Series game at StoneX Stadium in London on November 28 has been confirmed as a sell-out.

Tickets for the challenge match went on sale at 12pm on Wednesday with demand rapidly outstripping supply. Kerry GAA do not anticipate any further tickets becoming available to the general public.

"We knew there would be huge interest in bringing two of Gaelic football’s biggest counties to London, but I don’t think any of us could have anticipated quite this level of demand," Kerry GAA commercial director Maura Ashe wrote on LinkedIn.

"It’s an incredible reflection of the passion for Gaelic games and the strength of the Kerry and Mayo communities, both at home and across the UK.

"From a commercial perspective, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to bring brands into what promises to be a really special sporting occasion at StoneX Stadium."

Ticket sale figures have not yet been confirmed. Though, StoneX Stadium has a usual capacity of 10,500. Ticket prices for the challenge match ranged from £40 to £75.

The Irish Examiner reported last month that the counties are expected to earn around €400,000 each from the event.

It will be a first outing for both counties since Mayo defeated Kerry in July's All-Ireland final to end a 75-year wait for Sam Maguire. The GAA's central council granted approval for the November exhibition match.

Both teams are expected to send strong squads though the availability of players could be affected by club commitments. Due to the playing surface being smaller than a minimum size regulation GAA pitch, it is expected the match will not be a conventional 15-a-side contest.
