Cork GAA says Super Valu Pairc Ui Chaoimh will reopen for the county hurling semi-finals at the beginning of October. It has been closed for games since July, and before that in May for the Bruce Springsteen concert.
The County Board said Wednesday that the main pitch will re-open on the weekend October 4-6th after a period of annual works. Following this weekend’s third round Hurling Championship games, quarter-finals are slated for the weekend of September 22, with football quarter-finals a week later.
