Fionán Mackessy is still king of the mountain after braving the brutal conditions to retain his M Donnelly All-Ireland Poc Fada title.

The Kerry hurler, who has transferred to reigning Kilkenny and Leinster champions O'Loughlin Gaels, blew the field away with a terrific performance on the Cooley Peninsula.
