A hat trick from Lismore full forward Ben O'Sullivan couldn't stop Ballygunner from progressing to the Waterford SHC quarter-finals in a full blooded encounter at a blustery Fraher Field (1-19 to 3-9).

Pauric Mahony hit ten points and Stephen O'Keeffe saved a second half penalty from Maurice Shanahan as the Gunners went 55 matches undefeated in the Déise. They join Roanmore, Mount Sion and Abbeyside in the last eight.
