Over one million watched All-Ireland SFC final on RTÉ

Sunday's All-Ireland SFC final hit a peak audience of 1.085m on RTÉ2 as Armagh defeated Galway to win the county's second ever Sam Maguire title.
The Sunday Game Live broadcast had an average viewership of 889,000. The audience represents a 76% share of those watching television at the time. 356,416 watched on the RTÉ Player, up from 184,987 for the 2023 final between Dublin and Kerry.
"As live sport dominates our screens the draw of the All Ireland finals remain constant," said RTÉ head of sport Declan McBennett.
"A wonderful day for Armagh Gaels and an enthralling final which made life long memories for those from the Orchard county."
Sunday night's highlights show drew an average audience of 191,000 while Saturday night's Up For The Match show was watch by an average of 294,000.
The numbers for the football final are lower than the previous weekend's hurling decider between Clare and Cork which had a peak viewership of 1.237m and an average audience on 1.037m.
BBC also had coverage of both the hurling and football finals but the broadcaster does not release viewership numbers for individual programmes.
