Former Cork forward Mark Collins has said that John Cleary staying at the helm is a “great move for Cork football”.
Cleary confirmed last week that he would remain in charge for 2025, what will be the final year of the three-year term he was given shortly after the 2022 season concluded. That was a 2022 campaign where Cleary took over on an interim basis towards the end of the League following Keith Ricken's illness-enforced decision to step back.
