GPA could get behind August All-Ireland finals if the inter-county season starts later
CEO Tom Parsons at the GPA AGM Media Briefing
Gaelic Players Association (GPA) chief executive Tom Parsons has indicated the body could get behind August All-Ireland finals if the inter-county season starts later.
The GPA membership do not want to see the eight-month period – December to July – increased. However, disbanding the provincial pre-season competitions and a later return to training could be something they get behind.
