Dublin have been “the standout team” in this year’s football championship, according to Diarmuid Connolly, who has tipped the title holders to progress past Galway in Saturday’s quarter-final.

This weekend’s clash will be the 11th championship meeting between the counties, with the last of Galway’s two victories coming all of 90 years ago in the 1934 decider.
