Cork minor football boss Micheál 'Haulie' O'Sullivan, speaking after his side's chastening Munster MFC final defeat to Kerry a month ago, highlighted an important aspect of coaching a team of teenagers.

"One thing you can’t be certain of is whether the players will show up or not on the big day because they are very young," O'Sullivan said post-match. "The opposite also applies, young fellas get over things very fast.
