Nemo leapfrog Carrigaline to take top spot, Éire Óg pip neighbours Ballincollig

Table toppers Carrigaline and Nemo Rangers clashed in Division 1 of the McCarthy Insurances Cork Football league in Carrigaline on Sunday morning.
The home side entered the clash one point clear of the city giants, but afterwards it was Nemo who were sitting pretty as a result of their 1-13 to 0-12 win.
Barry Cripps scored Nemo's goal, Ross Corkery kicked 0-4 while Paul Kerrigan, Ronan Dalton and Gary Sayers all scored 0-2. For Carrigaline, Brian Coakley, Kevin O'Reilly and Éanna Desmond accounted for the scores.
Neighbours Éire Óg and Ballincollig met in Ovens on Sunday morning and it was the home side who took the bragging rights as a result of their 1-7 to 0-9 win.
Daniel Healy scored the all important goal for Éire Óg and also contributed a point with Brian Hurley also on form as he kicked 0-3. For Ballincollig, Brian Keating and Sean Kiely both kicked 0-3 and Peter Kelly chipped in with 0-2.
Castlehaven welcomed St Finbarr’s to Moneyvollahane in a clash between the reigning county champions and the reigning league champions. The Haven took the points with Robbie Minihane's goal proving to be the crucial score in their 1-13 to 0-11 win.
Mark Collins kicked 0-8, and Michael Hurley 0-2, while for the Barr's, Eoin McGreevey and John Wigginton Barrett scored 0-4 each.
It was the Barrs' second loss of the week as Newcestown bested them by 1-9 to 0-8 on Tuesday, but on Saturday, the West Cork men lost out to Douglas by 1-12 to 2-3.
Brian Hartnett kicked 1-2 for Douglas, while Colm Joyce and Alan O’Hare both had a brace for the city side. For Newcestown, Cathrach Keane and James Kelleher raised the green flags.
In Rosscarbery, Cill na Marta recorded a 1-14 to 2-9 win over Carbery Rangers. Ciarán Ó Duinnín banged in the Cill na Martra goal, Shane Ó Duinnín kicked 0-3 and Damien Ó hUrdail shot 0-5, while for Ross, Brian Shanahan and Peadar O'Rourke scored the goals.
In Division 2, Clonakilty made it five wins from five as they registered two wins in seven days. Last weekend they defeated Béal Átha ‘n Ghaorthaidh by 4-16 to 1-7.
Conor Daly kicked 2-5, Darragh Gough 1-4 and Ferghal Murphy 1-1 for Clon, while Diarmuid Mac Tomáis notched 1-3 for the Gaeltacht side.
The West Cork side were in goal scoring form again on Saturday as they defeated Fermoy by 4-12 to 2-9. Niall Barrett kicked 3-1 and Ross Mannix scored the other goal while for Fermoy Páidí de Róiste had 1-3 and Dale Dawson scored the other goal.
St Michael’s are level on 10 points with Clonakilty, with an extra game played, after they beat Dohenys by 1-10 to 0-9. Adam Hennessey struck for their goal, Luke Herlihy kicked 0-6 while Eric Hegarty and Daniel Meaney also found the target. For the Dohenys, Gavin Farr was their top scorer with 0-5 while Keith White also clipped over a brace of scores.
Béal Átha ‘n Ghaorthaidh answered their set back against Clon impressively when they defeated O’Donovan Rossa by 2-14 to 1-14.
Donagh Seartan and Conchúr Ó Loingsigh led the way for the Gaeltacht side, kicking 1-3 each while Séan Ó Muinmhneacháin registered 0-3.
Kevin Davis had 0-6 for the Skibbereen men, Shane Crowley struck for the goal and David Shannon kicked 0-3.
Patrick Doyle was the hero for Knocknagree as they defeated Clyda Rovers by 1-14 to 2-8.
The Cork 'keeper kicked 3 long range frees and made a save at the death to secure the win after an early Paul O'Connor's goal put them in pole position. Aidan Kelly and Cian Walsh scored the goals for Clyda.
Finally, Valleys Rovers moved into third place after they defeated Kiskeam by 1-17 to 0-10.
Ciarán McCarthy kicked 0-8 for Valleys, and Adam Walsh Murphy hit 1-3, while for Kiskeam Thomas Casey scored 0-3 and Dave Scannell notched 0-2.
