Danny Miskella, son of 2010 All-Ireland winner John, is named at half-forward on the Cork minor football team for the county’s Munster championship opener away to Kerry on Tuesday evening.
The Munster MFC quarter-final clash of Cork and Kerry at Austin Stack Park (7pm) is not a knockout fixture, with both teams progressing to the semi-finals irrespective of the outcome. There they will meet Clare and Tipperary, who meet in the Phase 1 final at Rathkeale tomorrow evening (7pm).
Danny Miskella is one of three Ballincollig players, along with Cian O’Connor and Cian Ahern in the half-back line, named on manager Micheal 'Haulie' O'Sullivan’s starting 15.
