Leinster SHC: Dublin 1-24 Carlow 0-22 

If Dublin needed any reminder that their second-round match of the Leinster senior hurling championship on Saturday in Netwatch Cullen Park was a potential banana skin then the news that filtered through from Corrigan Park earlier on the day came at the right time.
