From Cavan teammate to manager, Galligan still 'approachable'

Management terms in the GAA can be funny. Mickey Graham agreed a two-year extension at the end of the 2022 season. He stepped away after the conclusion of their 2023 campaign. Then Padraig Faulkner’s phone rang.
Graham gave five years to the cause. The high point came in 2020 with an Ulster title. Faulkner finished that year with an All-Star. So did two of his team-mates. It was one of them on the other end of the call, Raymond Galligan had a vision.
