The last time Shane Cotter pitched up at Croke Park, he did so with the Cork minors for a 2006 All-Ireland semi-final against Galway.

A young Pat Horgan struck seven points for the Munster champions though Joe Canning's 1-8 - he was chopping over points from the sideline even then - edged it for holders Galway.
